A STRONG ESG PROPOSITION
“The price of greatness is responsibility.”

thatfinanceguy is conscious of the impact it has on environmental, social and governance (ESG) elements. The noise around ESG is only expected to grow louder as pressure mounts on organisations, big and small, to be held accountable for their role in sustainable development.
As a young organisation, we commit to espouse responsible practices right from the start. Likewise, we look to similarly influence and support our clients and business partners in incorporating ESG-centric practices in their operations.

Digital and cloud computing technology facilitates our paperless office and remote-working capabilities. Remote-working arrangements eliminate the need for daily commute, translating into reduced emissions and carbon footprint. Using less paper helps to save storage space and significantly reduces wastage too. Going green benefits us by being cost-effective and preventing unnecessary disruptions to our service delivery. Likewise, our clients are able to access their financial information from anywhere, anytime!

Our business model embodies equal opportunities for everyone, including stay-at-home moms and differently-abled individuals. It’s your experience, capability and motivation that counts. Mutual respect is a fundamental part of our corporate personality. We are committed to be a responsible business partner by embracing clear communication and a responsible business payment practice. We provide pro bono support to deserving charities, non-profit and stricken organisations in giving back to the community.

Governance is a vital pillar for us in doing what we do. We can’t champion governance without exemplifying good governance ourselves. This includes not engaging in illegal practices, maintaining good business ethics, avoiding situations that may give rise to conflicts of interest and being a good corporate citizen. Respecting the law means maintaining transparent, clear accounting and documentation, paying the right amount of taxes and applying prudent judgement in matters that aren’t particularly clear. We extend the same level of diligence in managing client matters too.
